In this <span style="font-weight: bold;">mix </span>are some loops and effects such as the flanger from <span style="font-weight: bold;">Torq M-Audio</span>. The effects work flawlessly. Since I just have a simple <span style="font-weight: bold;">mixer</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></span></span>with no effects, Torq substitutes this feature nicely. Looping also works great. It seems to be just a matter of getting familiar and comfortable with it. One thing to mention is that one should always know the track that is playing good enough before beginning to loop in the <span style="font-weight: bold;">mix</span>.<br /><br />The actual <span style="font-weight: bold;">mix</span> time in between the <span style="font-weight: bold;">songs </span>should be shorter but I'm just starting to get the <span style="font-weight: bold;">beat</span> counting right. The sound of this <span style="font-weight: bold;">mix</span> may come off a little techy and <span style="font-weight: bold;">electronic </span>from time to time but its just a spontanious compilation with no specific focus on any genre. Its by no means perfect and I am not a pro but I am just learning so judge and <span style="font-weight: bold;">watch this dj mix</span> for yourself.<br /><br />The length of th<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"></span></span></span></span>e<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span></span></span>dj house mix</span> is about roughly 20min. The tracks are shown in sync with the rotation of the <span style="font-weight: bold;">songs</span>. There are 2 tracks where the artist and name aren't clear. I also use Torq which works great in comparison to SSL. Its been reliable so far although I have not been performing live for several hours with it. However, I have had sessions for over 4 hours and it hasn't crashed or frozen on me yet. Here's a quick detailed spec on the equipment:<br /><br />- Vaio Centrino Notebook with 1GB Memory<br />- MAudio Conectiv Torq &amp; Software<br />- 2 Stanton C.304 CDjs<br />- Numark DM1050 Mixer<br /><br />The cross fader on the Numark is totally gone but the rest works ok. I am just getting down with the basics, therefore excuse the lack of mixing experience.
